Home Security Systems

Your home should be the one place you feel completely safe. At Beecham Security Ltd, we design and install complete home security systems for homeowners across Essex, bringing together CCTV, intruder alarms, smart access control and automated gates into one system that is easy to use and built around how you actually live. Every home is different, so every system we fit is planned around your property, your family and your budget, backed by clear advice and friendly, responsive support.

From CCTV towers and scaffold alarms to controlled access points, our temporary and semi-permanent systems are built to keep pace with a busy site. Equipment goes in fast, moves when your site plan changes, and is backed by round-the-clock monitoring, so you can focus on the build while we look after security.

Home Security Systems

What is a home security system?

Our construction site CCTV systems give you eyes on every corner of your site, day and night. Cameras are positioned to cover gates, compounds, plant storage and vulnerable perimeter points, sending live footage straight to our monitoring centre. If something looks wrong, we know about it in seconds, not the next morning.

Because every build is different, we survey your site before fitting anything. A city centre refurbishment needs a different camera layout to a large groundworks project in open countryside, and our engineers plan around that from day one. How it works

Key features

Whether you are protecting a family home, a bungalow or a large countryside property, our home security systems are fitted to the highest standard and tailored to the exact layout and risks of your home. Here is what is included when you choose Beecham Security.

Smart Intruder Alarms

Our intruder alarm systems use motion sensors, door and window contacts to detect anyone trying to get in without permission. Alerts are sent straight to your phone, so you always know the status of your home, whether you are upstairs asleep or away on holiday.

24/7 Monitoring Options

For complete peace of mind, we offer monitored alarm packages where a professional monitoring centre watches over your home around the clock and can alert keyholders or the emergency services the moment something is triggered.

HD Home CCTV

High-definition cameras keep watch over your doors, driveway and garden, day and night. You can check live footage from your phone at any time, and recorded footage gives you clear evidence should you ever need to report an incident to the police or your insurer.

Smart Access Control

Swap old-fashioned keys for smart locks, keypads or fobs that let you control exactly who can get into your home and when. You can let a family member or trusted visitor in remotely, without ever needing to hand over a spare key.

Automated Gates

For added protection right at the boundary of your property, our automated gates keep vehicles and visitors out until you choose to let them in, giving you an extra layer of security before anyone even reaches your front door.

Insurance Approved Installation

Our home security systems are fitted to meet relevant British Standards, which can help lower your home insurance premiums whilst giving you genuine, tested protection rather than a system that just looks good on paper.

Why a joined-up system matters

Fitting a single camera or a basic alarm is better than nothing, but a joined-up home security system does far more. According to home security guidance from Secured by Design, the official police security initiative, most burglaries happen when nobody is home and are carried out by opportunists rather than being carefully planned, and fitting a working alarm has been shown to play a real part in cutting burglary rates. When your alarm, CCTV and access control all work together, you are not just reacting after something has happened, you are stopping trouble before it starts.

Our Services

How it works

Our Process

We will always give our customers clear and friendly advice throughout the design and installation phases. Here is a simple break down of the steps each customer would expect for a new home security system installation.

1. Quotation

Clear, simple pricing via our website or a home visit gives you precise information on cost and installation with no hidden fees. A full breakdown quotation will be emailed to you and will require your approval. Our team will conduct a thorough assessment of your home to understand its layout and any weak points.

2. Installation

During the booking stage we will confirm the length of installation so a date can be agreed. On the day, the engineer will send you a confirmation and tracking text. On arrival, the engineer will talk you through the placement of every camera, sensor and control point to make sure you are happy before any work begins.

3. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Once installation is complete, the engineer will fully test and commission your home security system, and all paperwork will be sent over to you. The engineer will then demonstrate exactly how to use the system and answer any questions you have about controlling and monitoring your home.

4. Warranty & Service

All installations by Beecham Security come with a 12 month warranty from the date of installation. Any issues within this time will be put right free of charge. 11 months after installation, we will email you a no-obligation service agreement showing the cost of ongoing maintenance, so your home stays protected for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a home security system from Beecham Security?

A typical home security system from Beecham Security combines an intruder alarm, CCTV cameras and smart access control, and can also include automated gates for added protection at the boundary of your property. Every system is designed around your home, so you only pay for what you actually need. We talk you through each option during your free quotation visit, so you understand exactly what is being installed and why before any work begins.

The cost of a home security system depends on the size of your property, the number of cameras and sensors needed, and whether you choose a monitored service. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all price, we provide a free, no-obligation quotation after assessing your home, so you get an accurate cost with no hidden extras. We also offer flexible monthly subscription packages to help spread the cost of a complete system.

Many insurers offer a discount when a professionally installed and certified security system is in place, as it reduces the likelihood of a successful break-in. Our home security systems are fitted to meet relevant British Standards, and we can provide the certification documents your insurer may ask to see. It is always worth checking with your insurance provider directly to confirm the exact discount available to you.

Yes. Our home security systems connect to an app on your phone, so you can check live camera footage, view alarm status and manage smart locks from wherever you are. This means you can keep an eye on your home whilst at work, on holiday, or simply out for the evening, and you will receive an instant alert if anything is triggered.
