Construction Site Security Solutions

Building sites are full of expensive equipment, materials and machinery, and they are often left empty overnight and at weekends. That makes them an easy target for thieves and trespassers. At Beecham Security Ltd, we design and install construction site security systems that protect your project from the moment the fence goes up to the day the keys are handed over.

From CCTV towers and scaffold alarms to controlled access points, our temporary and semi-permanent systems are built to keep pace with a busy site. Equipment goes in fast, moves when your site plan changes, and is backed by round-the-clock monitoring, so you can focus on the build while we look after security.

Construction Site Security Solutions

Construction Site CCTV

Our construction site CCTV systems give you eyes on every corner of your site, day and night. Cameras are positioned to cover gates, compounds, plant storage and vulnerable perimeter points, sending live footage straight to our monitoring centre. If something looks wrong, we know about it in seconds, not the next morning.

Because every build is different, we survey your site before fitting anything. A city centre refurbishment needs a different camera layout to a large groundworks project in open countryside, and our engineers plan around that from day one. Scaffold and Perimeter Alarms

Scaffolding gives intruders an easy route onto upper floors and rooftops, which makes it one of the most common weak points on any build. Our wireless scaffold alarms are quick to fit, fully portable, and built to withstand life outdoors on a working site.

The moment someone climbs where they shouldn’t, the alarm sounds a loud siren and sends an alert to our monitoring team. There is no waiting until the next site visit to find out something has happened. Whether you are protecting a small refurbishment or a large new-build, these alarms adapt to your scaffold layout and stay in place for as long as you need them.

Our Services

How it works

Our Process

We will always give our customers clear and friendly advice throughout the design and installation phases. Here is a simple break down of the steps each customer would expect for a new Site CCTV installation.

1. Site Survey and Quotation

One of our specialists visits your site, or reviews your plans, to work out exactly what security you need. You will receive a clear, itemised quote with no hidden costs.

2. Installation

Once you approve the quote, we agree an installation date. Our engineer will confirm arrival by text and talk you through the placement of every camera, alarm and access point before fitting begins.

3. Testing & Handover

Every system is fully tested before handover. We complete all the paperwork, then show your team how to use the system, so everyone knows how to check footage or respond to an alert from day one.

4. Warranty & Ongoing Support

Every installation comes with a 12-month warranty. Around 11 months in, we will be in touch with a no-obligation service agreement to keep your site protected for as long as the project runs. You can also add our alarm subscription service for continuous monitoring cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can construction site security be installed?

Most temporary CCTV, alarm and access control systems can be surveyed and fitted within days of your enquiry. Because our equipment is designed for fast set-up, we can usually work around your build schedule without holding up other trades.

Yes. Our CCTV towers, wireless alarms and access control units are built to be repositioned. As new phases begin or site boundaries change, we can adjust the layout so your coverage stays complete throughout the project.

Our monitoring centre receives an instant alert with the exact location and time of the incident. A trained operator checks live camera footage, contacts your named keyholder, and can call the police if needed, while the on-site siren works to deter the intruder.

Temporary CCTV and scaffold alarms used for site security do not usually need planning permission, as they are removed once the project is complete. Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, contractors must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to a site, and a monitored security system is a practical way to meet that duty. We would always recommend checking your specific site conditions with your principal contractor.
