Warehouse Security Essex
Why warehouse security matters
Warehouses hold high volumes of stock across a large footprint, often with loading bays, yards and staff entrances that stay open through the working day. Shift patterns, agency staff, delivery drivers and contractors all move through the building, which makes controlling and recording access as important as protecting the perimeter.
A well designed warehouse system does more than sound an alarm. It covers the yard as well as the building, controls who can reach stock and plant, and gives you visibility of every entrance whether you are on site or managing several locations remotely.
- Protect stock, plant and vehicles across the yard and building
- Control access to loading bays, offices and high-value storage
- Keep a clear audit trail of staff, drivers and contractors
- Deter theft and vandalism outside operating hours
- Provide evidence for insurance and stock loss claims
- Monitor one site or several from any device 24/7

How it works
Our Process
We will always give our customers clear and friendly advice throughout the design and installation phases. Here is a simple break down of the steps each customer would expect for a new intruder alarm installation.
1. Quotation
Clear, simple pricing via our website or on-site visit gives customers precise information on cost and installation with no hidden fees. A full breakdown quotation will be emailed to the customer and will require approval from the customer. Our alarm installer Essex specialists will conduct a thorough assessment of your property vulnerabilities and security requirements.
2. Installation
During the booking stage we will confirm the length of installation so an installation date can be confirmed. On the installation date, the engineer will send confirmation and tracking text. On arrival the engineer will go through the intruder alarm positioning with the client to ensure satisfaction with sensor placement and control panel operation.
3. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
At the end of the installation the engineer will fully test and commission the intruder or burglar alarm system, during this stage all paper work will be completed and sent over to the client. Finally the engineer will demonstrate the system operation and answer any questions the client has about controlling and managing their security system.
4. Warranty & Service
All installations by Beecham Security come with 12 months warranty from the date of installation. Any issues within these dates will be rectified free of charge. 11 months after the installation a no-obligation service agreement will be emailed to the client which shows service details and costs for ongoing maintenance by one of the most trusted alarm companies Essex has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best security system for a warehouse?
Most warehouses are best protected by a combination of an intruder alarm, a security surveillance system covering the building and yard, and access control on staff doors and loading bays. The right mix depends on the size of the site, the value of the stock and the hours you operate.
How much does a warehouse alarm system cost?
Our wireless intruder alarm packages start at £520 inc. VAT for the Basic package, fully installed and commissioned. Larger warehouses or systems combined with CCTV and access control are quoted individually, with a full itemised quotation sent before any work begins.
Can we control who enters different areas of the warehouse?
Yes. Access control lets you set permissions by door, by person and by time, so loading bays, stock areas and offices can each have their own rules, with a record of every entry.
Can I view warehouse CCTV footage remotely?
Yes. Our systems include a remote app, allowing authorised users to view live and recorded footage securely from a smartphone, tablet or desktop.
Is the installation covered by a warranty?
All installations come with a 12-month warranty from the date of installation, and any issues within that period are rectified free of charge. A no-obligation service agreement is offered at 11 months.
